Learn to trust yourself more. You give yourself too little credit.
Learn to trust your mom more. She knows best.
And give alittle less trust to those (friends) who are just not worth it.

All i can say is, i’m shocked. I kinda knew but chose to think better of the both of you. But your behaviour (or rather the lack of it) has proven my mom right.

Isn’t it amazing how when a season ends, so does certain friendships. Am i secretly relieved that I can stop pretending? Or am i surprised to have stumbled upon the truth? Beats me but at least i know now the friendship was never genuine. Never because the years of frienship brought out selfless-ness.

How could I have been so foolish?

I’ve heard her songs before yet I kept mixing her up with corrine bailey ray.

Angel in disguise, Save me and now my favourite is The Birthday Song. Her lyrics are heartwarming and all the emotions u feel for the friend u’re singing to comes forth so easily. It wasn’t even poh ling’s birthday but the song was for my best friend. So she’ll have to wait till 25th Dec but i told her bout the song anyway and she could not stop listening to it either. I checked back with her a couple of hours later and said she’s listened to it bout 30 times. haha no wonder she’s my best friend.

So I was browsing through her cd leaflet and in her thank-you note was a verse from the bible i’ve never come across.

For “neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who causes the growth”.

There is so much truth in that one liner. Being easter sunday and all, had it not been God’s unfailing love and Jesus dieing on the cross for us, we’d be really screwed up to say the least. Today I (we) stand redeemed because of His saving grace.
